Brouwerij Alken-Maes

The plant comprises 6.000 solar panels with a joint capacity of 1.463 kWp. The solar panels deliver an annual production of 1.338 MWh – the mean energy consumption of about 440 families. With these plants Alken-Maes hosts the largest solar energy system of any brewery in Europe.
The applied mounting-system concerned the patented Solarframe with which a large industrial flattened roofs can become foresee of solarmodus with a particular low additional roof ballast and without fixing points or drilling.
